In 1993 at San Diego Comic Con Mark did a sketch of SAMUREE for the then neophyte artist Ced Nocon [who went on to become an incredible talented professional comic-book artist himself]

Almost 20 years later they would touch base and Ced posted the scan he said he would give Mark!!

Very cool that he remembered and even cooler to see a piece from that era!
Awesome backstory from Ced about that piece: “…showed that work to Simon Bisley that same day coz i was trying to get a sketch from him. But he was overbooked. He saw your work and, in a Bisley fashion, he said, “Bloody fucking hell! This art just gave me a hard on! This is just incredible. I like it!””

A fantastic blast from the past with such a positive response from two awesome fellow artists!

So; as a tribute to the visit from the waywayback machine Mark did a *reflux* update to the piece and we are featuring it as the first supergurlz auction!
